Cairns Frog Hospital needs help

The Cairns Frog Hospital desperately needs community support in the way of donations and volunteers. The 12 year old amphibian rehabilitation centre is located in Edmonton. The Hospital cares for sick and injured amphibians, releasing them back into their natural habitats once they are well enough. There are currently 40 amphibians in the hospital's care, including green tree frogs and white lipped tree frogs. The Hospital also carries out research to better understand the reasons behind the declining number of amphibians across the Far North.

To make a donation which is tax deductible or help out at the Cairns Frog Hospital, contact them on (07) 4045 0373 or go to www.fdr-project.org.au
