RSPCA looking for owner
RSPCA Qld is looking for the owner of a 5 month old cattle dog cross that was found wandering the streets of Mt Morgan. The dog was in appalling condition with his face and limbs swollen by a severe flea infestation and demodex mange.
Inspector Laurie Stageman came across the dog, who has now been nicknamed Los, on Gordon Street where residents say he has been spotted regularly for two weeks.
“He was very timid and obviously suffering,” he said. “He’s receiving ongoing veterinary treatment and is currently with a foster carer.”
If anyone has any information they can contact RSPCA Cruelty Complaints hotline on 1300 852 188 or Inspector Stageman directly on 0404 097 521.
